Most Biolinx Labs peptides are standardized to ≥98% purity by HPLC, with many batches testing ≥99% purity.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids, typically 2 to 50 residues, while proteins are longer and fold into complex three-dimensional structures. Our research library covers this in more detail.
It refers to the net peptide content of the lyophilized material in the vial. Net peptide content can differ from the gross powder weight, which may include water and counter-ions.
A CAS Registry Number is a unique identifier assigned to a chemical substance. It lets researchers identify a compound unambiguously across catalogs and the scientific literature.
Yes. We offer research bundles and stacks that group related compounds at a bundle price. See the Bundles section of the store.
Certain research compounds are restricted to verified research members. Non-members may see these products gated and will need to be logged in as a member to view them.

Quality & Verification

What sets Biolinx Labs apart from other peptide suppliers?
Biolinx Labs operates under the Biolinx Standard, a framework designed to ensure every batch is tested, verified, and standardized. Through advanced analytical testing and independent laboratory verification, researchers receive materials with consistent purity and documented quality.
Yes. Each product is accompanied by a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis documenting identity and purity, typically by HPLC and mass spectrometry.
Purity is determined by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), reported as the percentage of the main peak relative to total detected material. Identity is confirmed separately by mass spectrometry.
It means the material was analyzed by high-performance liquid chromatography to quantify its purity. HPLC separates the sample into its components so the proportion of the target compound can be measured.
Match the lot number on the COA to the vial, confirm the stated identity (sequence, molecular weight) against the mass-spectrometry result, check that the HPLC method and instrument details are listed, and look for third-party verification where applicable.
Yes. Researchers are welcome to submit samples to an independent analytical laboratory for verification of identity and purity.

Research Use & Compliance

No.

All Biolinx Labs products are supplied strictly for laboratory research use only and are not intended for human consumption or therapeutic use.
It means our products are intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research and development by qualified researchers and professionals. They are not drugs, supplements, cosmetics, or food, and are not for human or veterinary use, nor for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.
No. These are research chemicals and have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for any use. They are supplied strictly for laboratory research.
No. We cannot provide dosing, administration, or usage guidance of any kind. Our materials are reference compounds for in-vitro research; experimental design is determined by the researcher and their institutional oversight.
Products are sold for legitimate laboratory and research use. By ordering, you confirm you are a qualified researcher or professional and that the materials will be used solely for in-vitro research, not for human or animal consumption.

Storage & Handling

Store lyophilized (freeze-dried) material cold and dry, typically at -20°C or lower, protected from light and moisture, until it is prepared for use.
Once dissolved for laboratory use, store at 2-8°C and minimize repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Refer to the product specification for material-specific guidance.
Repeated freezing and thawing can degrade peptides over time. Preparing small aliquots and limiting freeze-thaw cycles helps preserve material integrity for research.
Bacteriostatic water is a common laboratory diluent used to reconstitute lyophilized materials for in-vitro research. It is supplied here as a research material.
Lyophilized peptides are generally stable for extended periods when kept cold and dry; refer to the COA and product specification for the relevant material. Stability is shorter once the material is in solution.
